M1 Carbine Wolff Spring Kit
M1 carbine works great with Wolff springs. I would recommend new springs for your WWII vintage rifle.
Works great.
Just replaced the springs on a refurbed surplus M1 Carbine. It had been professionally refurbished before being shipped to me. The springs were all original. I replaced the op-rod and hammer springs, and the gun runs great. I put a whole bando of Korean surplus ammo through it without any major issues. The hammer spring takes some doing, but theres a couple of easy to find tutorials on youtube.
If you have an old Carbine, get this!
Wolff makes great springs. They're my go-to. I ordered directly from them... and waited. Eventually I cancelled, and ordered from Brownells. Brownell's understands my needs, and the springs were delivered in a couple days. Springs are about the cheapest thing you can do for an old gun to ensure reliability. Get this kit for your Carbine.
Excellent springs!
Great springs! And honestly the best way to breathe new life into your old M1 carbine! This spring pack turned my old jam-o-matic M1 carbine into a reliable firearm again. No problems at all in 800 rounds since the new springs installation.
Should be great
I bought this from seeing it on 5 different videos telling me how to fix my new M1 Carbine since many have feeding issues. This came in less then a week and looks and feels very top notch quality wise. I will review it again after I actually use it.
Misfit bag of unlabeled "close enough"
My 1943 Saginaw/ IBM carbine was having extraction issues. Extractor itself looks fine, so next stop was the spring. Ordered this spring set because I thought it would be nice to have spares of everything. None of the springs are labeled, and none of them match the length of good usgi springs. Don't waste your money. Good usgi springs can be purchased for only slightly more (in 2021) and those will fit. This is a collection of commercial springs that are close to the right size, but aren't quite there. If I manage to get the springs installed and they work despite what is listed above, I will correct this review.
