One-piece construction blends the ring and base into a single unit. Eliminating the ring/base joint not only keeps weight to a minimum, it provides a stronger mount. Each ring cap is 5⁄8' wide, with four, TORX screws, to keep large scopes from slipping or shifting. Designed by Mel Forbes of New Ultralight Arms. SPECS: 7000 series aluminum, black, anodized, matte finish. Accepts 1' dia. scopes, unless otherwise listed in fits column for 30mm dia. scopes. Height from bottom of ring to top of receiver: Low - .400' (10.1mm), Med - .500' (12.7mm). High - .640' (16.3mm), X?High - .740' (18.8mm). Approx. weight 2.1 oz. (59 g). Some heights vary, see chart below. Rem. 700 also fits 721/722/725 and 40X models. Rem. Model Seven fits receivers with four screw holes. Talley Rings

Only rings I use on my hunting rifles.

Solid lightweight choice

Put this on a Savage Axis 243 that my dad got for the grandkids to use for deer hunting. Low extended version fit with just enough clearance for a Leupold 4x. Lapped the rings and torqued to specs with Loctite. In case anyone needed to know this, the rings, base, and hardware that came with the Savage are absolute garbage.

Talley rings for Win. 70

Put on customers rifle, had no problems getting to mount. Bore sighted rifle, test fired, worked great. Customer was going hunting soon, will hear back.

Nice rings, great customer service

I ordered these rings for my old Howa 1500, they fit great and do what they're supposed to. Good clearance up front with a 44mm scope, but a little close in the back, they did limit the already very limited eye relief adjustment(back and forth movement). When they arrived I noticed that one of the ring screws was missing. I called Talley and a live person answered the phone and sent out replacement machine screws immediately. It was a very pleasant experience, and it made me glad I bought from a domestic manufacturer especially since our Elk season is opening soon.

Excellent Rings

Great Rings for the money, use a ton of these on customer hunting guns, specifically BDL rifles where 2-piece rings are best for keeping your loading/ejection port clear and unobstructed by a pic rail. Best results, base screws should be locktited, rings lapped and alignment verified with rods before lightly torquing top screws

Great fit, finish and machining

Bases fit action contour perfect, hole spacing was perfect also. Finish is very good, matches firearm perfect.
