Absolute MUST HAVE! For Revolvers
Been using the Lewis Lead Remover for 30+ years. There's NO OTHER way to ensure one's Revolver is absolutely SPOTLESS! (Not everyone will read instructions) or understand the concept. Best they stick with a .380

Fastest way to remove leading from revolver forcing cones and barrel throats.
Have used Lewis Lead removers on my pistols and revolvers now for some forty five years and when combined with J-B bore cleaning compound and Shooters Choice Lead Remover, I’ve never had a problem getting one completely free of lead deposits. (This includes some hot loads in the .357 Mag, loaded with cast or swaged lead slugs!) Just ordered two more kits for my two sons.
Easy way to remove lead
I finally got the chance to remove the lead from two revolvers I use in Cowboy Action competition. I was a little hesitant to purchase because it of the expense. After all, what could this tool do that a brush and a lot of elbow grease accomplish. Last evening I cleaned two revolvers is less time than I normally spend of one revolver and I believe they are cleaner than they have been since I purchased them. A little Kroil, a few passes with the brass discs and the bores and cylinders are shining again.

I reload for high pressure 327 Federal Magnum and 7.62x25 Tokarev (among other HP cartridges) and in developing various cast, plated and coated loads run into leading quite often. I have a nice Outers LeadOut II I used to use with great success but that has long been discontinued and the solutions to run it are no longer available. So sure, I can run ChoreBoy copper pads up and down my cylinders and bores but the Lewis Lead Remover is a much nicer and easier to use tool. Was really happy to see it offered in 30 cal / 313 which is exactly what I need for these two calibers. I also shoot 32-20 and 30 Herrett out of a Contender with cast bullets and use it here as well. Reasonably priced and very effective. Highly recommend to anyone dealing with cast bullets and soft plated loads at higher velocities.
It works like promised!
I've had the same problem as everyone else has, shooting lead bullets and then having the scrub the barrel clean afterward. With this tool, once I figured out how it worked, six or seven passes and I had most of the lead out of the barrel! Much easier than taking scrub brush attaching it to a cleaning rod and scrubbing the snot out of the barrel. Just a word of warning though, put a rag down because lead particles get out and get on everything when you're scrubbing the Gun Barrel, And i found the directions to be confusing, But i did get in figured out.
