Primers
Service was great but the required signature was a pain. I work nights and kept missing the delivery person.
Would you recommend this?
Yes, I would recommend to a friend
rem lrg rifle primers
they work just fine in all of my 308 brass
Remington Primers
Considering the shortage, the price was the best around. Would recommend Brownell's for your reloading needs.
Finally primers
Waited a long time for these
Keeps me in the game
I shoot black powder cartridge silhouette. This purchase insures I have enough primers to get me through this year's matches. The Remington primers are dependable and work well for black powder and smokeless also.
Large rifle primers
Item I received was packaged great and was exactly what I ordered..only thing could be better is the price on it was pretty pricey plus shipping and hazmat fees was high
Got Large Rifle Primers!
Brownells notified me they were in stock. Didn't believe it, till I purchased them.
Remington #9-1/2 primers too long
The primers average 0.1327” in height. The primer pocket is 0.1282”. This means the primer has to be crushed 3.5 thousandths to just be even with the base of the brass. Adding in the necessary seating depth of 4 to 5 thousandths means a total crush of 8 thousandths. This is too much and likely to result in misfires. I won’t use these primers and will request a refund or trade to another brand. I have three other brands that are all of the right size meaning they seat without excessive crush.
