IRON SIGT SLIDES FOR GLOCK 19

The Brownells Iron Sight Slide for Glock®19® Gen3 enables you to build a custom Glock®-style pistol with a slide that sports distinctive cocking serrations. The front serrations aid in manipulating the slide, especially for quick chamber checks AND for clearing the occasional jam (caused by problem ammo, of course!). Both the front and rear serrations are cut to the same depth as the Glock® factory slide serrations to ensure preservation of structural rigidity. The top edges and the front around the muzzle area are chamfered to reduce the risk of snagging on clothing and to make holstering the pistol easier. You can get your Brownells Iron Sight Slide for Glock® 19 Gen3 with a solid top and wraparound front cocking serrations.

  • Accepts Gen3 Glock® 19 internal parts
  • Factory cuts for iron sights
  • Sturdy machined 17-4 stainless steel
  • Hardened to Rockwell "C" 41-44 for superb wear resistance
  • Durable, non-reflective matte Black Nitride finish
  • Channel liner not included; please order separately (see note below)

Like all Brownells slides, the Iron Sight model for Glock® 19 Gen3 is precision machined from solid 17-4 stainless steel billet to factory specifications inside so it is compatible with any factory or aftermarket Gen3 internal components. Outside, there's a Glock® factory rear sight dovetail and a standard Glock® front sight tenon cut ready for any factory or aftermarket sights you choose. This is the perfect companion "top-half" for a custom pistol built on a Polymer80 80% frame.

Brownells Gun Tech™ Note: Channel liner required for these slides. Channel liner is a press fit and requires a tool to install. We recommend #777-100-017.

Good for Low Cost Build
I purchased the Brownell's slide for a G19 truck gun. Didn't want to spend a ton of money on this build, so I wanted to try the Brownell's slide. I received the slide and the extractor would not fit. With other parts testing I confirmed the slide was the issue, not the extractor. I sent the slide back in and got another one (same one) and it worked just fine (installation and at the range). I will chalk this one up to not all parts will come out of the mill perfect and I just got one of the bad eggs. If you're looking for something on the lower cost spectrum, I'd still recommend. I still have faith in our friends at Brownells.

Great slide for P80 Build
This is my second P80 build and it ended up being a little more work than the Glock 17 Brownells slide I purchased. I had a bit of fitting to have the slide function smoothly on the frame but that's probably normal fitting building a P80. When assembling the Glock OEM parts in the slide, the trigger safety plunger would not enter the cavity in the slide. There was a little metal lip where the plunger entered that wasn't machined off properly. A little work with a fine file and it worked perfect. Barrel dropped in with no problems at all. Bottom line, I'm very happy with the finished product.

blocky
cycles consistently with a wolf barrel, only have a few mags through it, but no failures yet. (polymer 80 lower, oem parts) holy goodness is this thing ugly... the coating is nearly perfect but the blocky nature of this side is a huge turn off for me, the window is cool though. I like it, it definitely is worth its price, but it is a budget slide; if your looking to drop a match barrel into it, tritium sights onto it, and a high end trigger on the underside, get a higher quality slide. if you want a pistol that will fire, accept drop-in parts, and not have to worry about scratching the thing, get this slide and spend the rest of your money learning to shoot.

Sub par finish
Poor finish . Top of slide has discolored scotches . I am not happy .

Works great doesnt fit Glock mos plate
This is a well working decent looking slide. I got the Glock 17 gen 3 with rmr cut and top window cut. IT DOES NOT ACCEPT GLOCK MOS ADAPTER PLATES! So the vortex venom I got WILL NOT work with this. :( but otherwise Im pretty happy with it.
