Disappointed. Poor quality.
Poor machining and quality control. Attached are two photos of concerns. 1. The front sight hole has a bubble that prevents the screw from going in tighter than it should 2. You can clearly see the machine marks in the area. The slide is also very rough when put on with lower. I would not recommend this. Poor machining, poor quality. Save your money and buy something else.
It's okay
There was an issue with the extractor depresser plunger would not drop into the lining because of a small piece of metal that was stuck in the center of the hole you drop the depresser plunger into. It was preventing my extractor depresser plunger from completely sliding in I had to use my drill bit to scrape it out. Other than that it's okay seems to also cause a gap between the bottom of the slide and top of the frame it wiggles just a bit. But for the money it works I've shot 1000+ rounds with no problems. Seems to be a problem with QC for sure though.
Poorly cut, doesn't work.
Would give 0 stars if I could. I got this for my Polymer80 build, and bottom line is that it doesn't work. Something on it is machined way too tight so that when trying to get it onto the frame it will fight you. Also when trying to rack the slide, it is on there so tight that if you pull it back and slowly let it go forward it will only go about halfway before becoming stuck. Even for awhile it would get stuck unless I locked it back and let it go forward by pressing on the slide release. When I took it to the range it would only fire 1 shot before becoming jammed or not ejecting the round. Absolute garbage, stay away from it.
Rusty with a blocked plunger channel
I have purchased other items from Brownells so I was surprised to find the item in such poor condition. When I received the slide it was covered in rust. It cleaned off without much issue until I went to install the slide parts. The extractor plunger channel was completely blocked seemingly with rust. I have no idea what went wrong with the QC process here but it went very wrong.
Out of spec
good looking slide, but extractor/plunger hole is way too tight, had to sand paper it out to work properly. so was the striker channel, then stock hight Glock sights don't work, because the gun will shoot 6 inches low at 10 yards. Also since this slide doesn't have rounded edges like OEM slide, it won't fit in any kydex holsters I have, and I got 4 of those. long story short, I'm sending it back
