Just right for this load.
I loaded 43 grains of IMR 4395 behind a 155 gr. Hornaday Match bullet for my 308 M1 Garand & it performed well!
Would you recommend this? Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Newer powder for me
I usually load IMR 4064 in my 8x57 Mauser hunting rifles tipped by 150gr. Sierra spitzer soft point. That is still the best load for one rifle, but the other one likes the IMR 4895 with the same bullet.

Best for .308
It is one of the best powders I have ever used for .308. I shoot 1/4 MOA at 100yds with it. It takes 3 rounds and makes just 1 ragged hole.

GREAT .30cal Powder
I have been reloading over 40 years now! I started with .30.06 and 300 Savage. I added many more over the years; from .22-250 to .37 H&H. I have found this powder to be the single most versatile and accurate with lots of forgiveness. It seems to burn 100, even with 70+ grains loads. It is the by far the best in my Garands. I have it said it is he closest thing to the original powder for theses guns you can buy. You can buy powders that will generate more .30 cal energy, but not probably not better accuracy. It will take an elk off it's feet at 300 yds with a 150-180 bullet out of a .30-06. Do you really need more? ...
