The Howard Leight Impact Sport Electronic Earmuffs offer compact, lightweight electronic hearing protection allowing you to hear conversations and range commands, while blocking out dangerous noises like gunfire. Internal ultra-fast response electronics amplify ambient sounds to a safe 82 decibels (dB), yet shut down when sounds above 82 dB are detected to let the muff’s passive hearing protection take over. When the earmuffs are in amplification mode, directionally placed stereo microphones even help you hear where the sound is coming from. Built-in AUX input accepts 1/8" (3mm) stereo plug (patch cable included) to connect an MP3 player, radio, or other audio. The Impact Sport Electronic Earmuffs feature an automatically shut-off that activates after 4 hours to preserve battery life. Bottom half of the low-profile ear cups angles in sharply to ensure plenty of clearance when shouldering long guns. Cups fold up neatly into the adjustable head band for convenient storage.

Electronic Earmuffs

The Impact Sport Electronic Earmuff is a great way to build up the gear bag. This is my second pair to keep as a backup or spare. Nice to have a set that can fold down to reduce bulk, compared to another brand. Worn during all-day classes w/o any issue

Still going after 10+yrs

I bought these right as I started maybe 10-12yrs or more ago. They have held up and are still going strong. Only changed the batteries a few times (left them on many times) with a lot of use in rain, snow, sun, 0deg to 100deg days. They fold up and store in a range bag nicely. No issues and the adjustable volume is really helpful for safety/communication at the range. These are comfortable and are easy to fit. Dampen sound from 22 to 3in magnum shotgun shells, all around are just excellent. Im hard on things and theyve survived well with hundreds of hours on them. They still look new. Saw there still out there and thought I would give an honest long duration review.

Works better than any other pair of electronic ear pro I've used. The sound was natural. I could hear better with them on than without, and they cut out gunfire well.

I have owned a set of these for 10 years; they still function flawlessly and no issues after hundreds of range trips other than some fair wear and tear.

Iv been using this ear protection for over a year . I shoot at least once a week sometimes five times a week and suggest these hearing protection

Quality Product!

My primary use is the shooting range. The earmuffs are very comfortable and easy to adjust. Quick volume adjustment allows you to hear good when not shooting. Very good construction and quality!

GREAT VALUE

I DO NOT THINK THERE ARE A BETTER SET OF AMPLIFIED EARMUFFS ON THE MARKET FOR THE MONEY.THEY ARE WELL CONSTRUCTED AND HAVE VERY GOOD QUALITY SPEAKERS IN THEM AND ITS GREAT THAT THEY ARE LOW PROFILE. I AM AN NRA INSTRUCTOR AND USE THESE WHEN I AM GIVING INSTRUCTIONS TO STUDENTS AT THE RANGE. MOST OF MY FRIENDS THAT I HAVE SHOWN THEM TO HAVE WENT AHEAD AND PURCHASED A PAIR OR TWO FOR THEMSELVES.

Worth Every Dollar

I have been using these for 3 years and have not yet needed to change the batteries. Every time I let a friend use these, they are amazed at how much better they are than standard hearing protection. I really do hear much better with these on and I feel disappointed with my natural hearing when I take them off! I am not sure why so many people are rating these 4/5. They deserve 5/5.

Such a nice deal, I bought 5 more!

I got one of these when my local range mentioned Brownells had them on sale. I didn't expect too much, but I was pleasantly surprised! I found them comfortable and very effective. I am very careful with my hearing, so I wear foam plugs umder my muffs. Just turned up the volume and normal sounds sound ... well ... normal! Gun reports were knocked down to comfortable levels, even with a short barrelled 45 right next to me at the range. I am looking forward to using these in the field. I liked mine so much, I bought 5 more for Christmas presents the next week. All worked well right our of the box. My younger son really likes the MP3 jack so he can listen to music while he shoots. Great service from Brownells. Would ... no DID buy again!
