The Kinetic Research Group Howa 1500 Bravo Chassis features a backbone made from machined aluminum that stretches along the entire length of the stock, giving it rigidity that will ensure the same performance usually found with custom bedding jobs. The rest of the stock is made from reinforced polymer for durability.

Purchased for the Howa m1500 .308 Win barrelled action part # 100805035. Perfect fit and finish. Only magazines I found to work perfectly are the "ACCURACY INTERNATIONAL AICS SHORT ACTION 7.62/308" mfg # 3901 or Brownells # 100005887. Nothing else I tried worked.

KRG Howa 1500 B Chassis

I purchased one of these KRG rifle chassis from Brownells a few years ago and found it to strong, durable, and good looking. As a result, I bought another one recently.The look of this chassis is more traditional, as it lacks all the "skeletonized" features, but it is still a break from most stocks. The KRG stock fits the Howa 1500 barreled action perfectly and is simple to install. It fits both a standard contour barrel and a heavy barrel with no problems.

Makes one heck of a rifle

An amazing piece to solidify a long range rifle. Beautiful, practical and easy to use. Made my Howa SA a better rifle than I am currently shooter. Give me something to aspire to. Highly adaptable, adjustable comb and length of pull, absolute perfect fit.

perfect all purpose chassis

I bought this to throw under a 6.5 creed barreled action, for a prs project. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived, as it was much more than described. the chassis is phenomenaly stiff, and very light, so you can add weights to your desire, or not. it also comes with a swivel mount, qd cup, and pic rail, as well as all of the mounting hardware to configure as pleased. The chassis is extremely stiff, and the bottom is perfectly flat up to the integrated barrier-stop/magwell. It mates to the action very solidly, and without fuss, the whole design is extremely well thought out. It's perfect as is, and has plenty of room to add and customize to your heart's content, and at half the cost of similar systems.

Good stabilizing stock

I have a KRG Bravo stock for my Howa 1500 and Weatherby Vanguard 6.5 Creedmoor barreled actions. Using the KRG stock instead of Weatherby's original synthetic stock improved the accuracy of the Weatherby barreled action. I have gotten well below sub-MOA accuracy with my Howa 1500 heavy barrel using the KRG stock. The KRG grip is very comfortable to use and the stock fits me well. I highly recommend this stock for your Howa and Weatherby barrels.
