Great Powder
This is my preferred powder for my .308 REM & .223 REM. It's impervious to temperature changes and provides excellent accuracy (sub moa groups consistently) in my rifles.

Hard to find
Needed this for an existing load. Hard to find so buy it when available. No hazmat fee a plus.
FAST
Great turnaround time
Versatile Powder
Doesn't need to be used at "full" charge. Just as accurate downloaded as well as at full charge. Great for cast loads in rifles! All weather performance, too.
Excellent Accurracy & Velocity
I worked hard trying to find a powder that would shoot my 55gr Varmint bullets close to NATO 55gr ball velocity in a 16 inch barreled AR15. This is the only one that did it. And with superb accuracy. To my surprise. Also the accuracy window was large at the top.
Works great
I use H4895 in my 308 and now 22-250. This powder is excellent in both cartridges. In my experience this stuff works better than Varget and has excellent standard deviation with my 308 Palma brass. I would say this is the best versatile powder on the market IMO. The powder is temp insensitive as well which is a bonus on hot and cold days.
VERY FLEXIBLE POWDER
With all the new (and many are very good) powders, I still keep going back to H - 4895. With all the well deserved attention to the .223, I use it in my 22 - 250. However, I have come to find it one of by favorites for the .375 H&H and .416 Rem. Mags. In between, it's burn rate places it in a good but not great category. Definitely one of my favorites
A great powder
I use this powder in all of my rifle rounds from .223 to 7.62 . Use this powder in loads year round. The same load will shoot the same in the cold winter as it does in hot summer. I have tried many different powders over the years, But allways come to H4895.
