does what its supposed to very nicely. cool that it has the option of 1" or 1 1/4", a lot are just made for the latter. great price.
Good Replacement Hardware
This is great for replacement hardware it's well made good quality. I've had a set for years never had a bit of problem with it for that reason alone I would highly recommend it.
Classic
Love the classic, old-school look and feel of these snap hooks. Compared to QD-type attachments, they may not give you a reaction time edge at first when changing out, for example, from a two to one point configuration. But time and practice should bring you close. Also, to me snap hooks feel very secure on my hunting as well as home defense setups. Looking at buying a couple more in the near future.
Works great, small opening
Works great, kinda difficult to get on and off but that's not an issue and there is NO way it is accidentally coming undone. Will be buying more in the future.
Great for for 1" Tac Slings (Mag, VTAC)
these HK Style hooks are strong and have a good durable finish. I'm using them on 4 different rifles, all with different attachment points and they work well with all of them. FYI: In the past, I have made the mistake of ordering the 1.25" sling hooks and QD adapters for my 1" slings. Big mistake... way too big for 1" slings, making for sloppy fits and poor aesthetics. Make sure and measure the width of your slings BEFORE you order attachments for them.

The rivet is solid, not the pressed open-ended like on others.
The finish is way too shiny. I had to hit it with a Scotch Bright pad to nock the shine off.
The end of the gate could have been just a touch wider. When closing it, it can get hung up and not fully engage the hook.

First time using this item is the reason for 4 stars. Initial impression is that it's good quality and function properly. I will update the ratings if needed after reasonable time have passed.
HK style works well on FN SCAR
I put these on my military sling for my SCAR 16s. They do not damage the aluminum attachment points on the rifle like the mash clips do. The only thing that is not-so-good is the spring in the gate is quite weak and the fabric protective covers from the sling can hold the gate open. Stiffer springs would be right on.
HK hook big fail
I have an AICS 2.0 chassis that is supposed to accept HK style sling hooks and this product did not fit. Also I don't get how it is supposed to work with the gate positioned inside the nose of the hook. The sample pictures show the gate positioned both inside and outside of the hook, I was sent one with the gate inside of the nose. It did not fit without binding and would not allow the sling clip to be reinstalled on the chassis buttstock. Big waste of money.
