Great box. Built great. Not some flimsy plastic.
I wanted a few of these for reloads and because i buy larger amounts to get more uniform size for range bag. I fill my extra clips grab a box and its off to range.
Frandford ammo box
I buy loose ammo, and these boxes give me a reliable place to keep them and carry to the range. I find no fault with this product.
Fits perfectly
Needed some boxes to fit my 50AE reloads. Options for 50AE flip top boxes are very limited. These fit the rounds perfectly, seem to be sturdy, close securely, and have a actual hinge instead of just molded plastic like some other brands. Highly recommended.
Works great on 6.5 Grendel
I was trying to find something to fit the 6.5 Grendel. I checked the measurements and the 7.62x39 is almost identical in size. I bought them and the Grendel fits in perfect. If youre looking for something to fit the 6.5 Grendel for reloading, this works great.
A better box by any measure
The best feature is that the lid is actually hinged, and stays open when you want it. Secondary, the 100 round capacity, in this case with .45 Colt, it allows a reloader like me plenty of room to keep separate loadings apart from each other to keep things orderly at the range when testing loads.

They are a better fit as they are shorter than the other boxes. A slightly lower profile makes it easier retrieving when the bullet is up. They fit both 40SW and 10mm Auto well.
Well Designed and Manufactured
Quality construction. I handload and these are great for storing ammo and taking it to the range or prairie dog town.
Not impressed
Boxes are of poor quality. Warped on side edges to where its hard to get cartridges out of both outside side rows. Lid is too tall cartridges fall out of compartments if box tips or is jarred and I mean not hard at all. I purchased these for .223 / 5.56 NATO No thought or effort out into this product at all. I have other Frankford Arsenal products that I really like and use often.
