Magazines for Legacy Pistol Work Perfectly
Inherited an old High Standard Sport King with only one magazine. Bought two from Brownells and they fit and function like OEM. Highly recommend them.

Great Fit
Ordered this magazine for my High Standard Supermatic Citation model 104 and it fits just like the factory magazine. They are identical except the factory magazine has a metal tab to feed the bullets into the barrel where as the Trple K has a plastic tab which makes feeding no difference and the words "High Standard " are not printed on the bottom. I always wanted an extra magazine for this pistol and the Triple K fits the bill.

High Standard Sportking magazine
Having searched the internet for a magazine for my SportKing and seeing that Browneels had it available. I ordered two of them. Although I have not actually used them I did try them to see that they fit and would feed properly. Every indication is that they should work just fine.
Worked fine
Loaded easily. Fit in the pistol without issue. Fired 50 rounds using three different brands of ammo without any feed issues.
High Standard 22 mags
This is my second order for these magazines. I ordered one previous and found it to feed very well. These work very well, they are easier to use than the original factory ones. They are built very rugged. Thank You
It's all in how it's loaded
First, let me say that the build quality of these magazines is excellent, while not quite up to the standard of the factory originals. By that, I mean that the feed lips are constructed slightly differently on the Triple-K, and the feed lip area hadn't been dipped in cyanide the way the factory originals are (thus why the factory originals have no bluing on this spot on the magazine) to harden this part of the magazine body. With that said, I had good luck using the Triple-K at the range side-by-side with the factory original magazine, with a few hiccups here and there with the Triple-K until I understood how best to load it, then getting much better reliability with it. Because the factory original is constructed slightly differently at the feeding section, it's necessary to load the Triple-K in a slightly different manner to ensure that the cartridges slide into the magazine at exactly the same angle as the follower to prevent binding and misfeeds. I don't think that these aftermarket magazines are lesser quality as such, but they seem to work much better when the cartridges are slid into the feeding area by sliding instead of just dropping in, and a bit of a break-in period seems to get them working better, as I noticed after three times of firing a full magazine through my Sport King. One other item that I would strongly suggest for both the Triple-K and the factory original magazine is the Maglula X10 and V10 magazine loader. Loading this and other magazines for .22LR pistols (the Ruger MK series, for one) that have a side button for loading is considerably easier and much less painful with the Maglula loader. The Maglula comes as a combination of loading tools, the V10 with a spring-loaded system that keeps itself locked in any position on the magazine body, and the X10 consisting of only a single piece of reinforced plastic that slides up and down the body to compress the follower and greatly ease loading. Interestingly, I found that the V10 loader works well on the factory original magazine, while the X10 is by far the better choice for the Triple-K magazine because it much better ensures that the cartridges go in at the proper angle, and it works just as well for the factory original magazine.
Brownell' s supports 3K magazines
The magazine did not function at all. Brownell's replaced it with a new one--no problem. I have purchased a special alignment wrench for the magazine. I understand that 3K products frequently require alignment and once done will work well. Thank you Brownell's.
Triple-K could do better
Failed to feed after two rounds fired. Had to file the rear of the magazine in order for the magazine to lock in the gun. Also had to file a notch in the left rear of the magazine so that it would not interfere with the ejector. Have not gone to the range to see if it functions correctly after making these adjustments. Will do so this weekend and report results.
