Upgrade to the Grove Tec heavy-duty push button swivel with stainless steel baseand your problem is solved. New from Grove Tec, the sling loop measures a whopping 1 1/4-inch to fit any sling you might use. It swivels to keep the sling twist to a minimum and has a quick release feature for one hand removal.

The push button swivel is made of heavy-duty steel with a black oxide finish that is rust resistant. Bases are made of stainless steel for strength and long life, with the same non-reflective finish as the push button swivels.

Best QD swivel sets

Ive always had excellent results with Grovtec products. I installed a set of these in a Magpul MOE fixed stock, and the bosses are exactly the right size for the 9/16-18 threads on these. Works perfect.

Awesome product with no downside cups are recessed into the stock so there is no snag point when sling is off. Easy to use and install. Can quickly change sling out by depressing button and pulling. I been using these for years and will continue to use these.

SUPER PRODUCT

We are custom rifle builders and have gone to this GroveTec product on all our custom tactical and hunting rifles. You do need proper tools to install neatly: 1/2" forstner bit, 9/16"x18tpi tap, and a tube of JB Weld; all available in any good hardware store. Superior made in America product. No down side.

Grovtec HD Push Button Swivels

These are nice swivels sets. I insatlled these on my Savage 93R17 TRR-SR. I used the 9/16 - 18 tap suggested below and it worked perfectly. I used Marine-Tex to glue in the cups. Everything worked out very good.

Requires special tool!

Requires a 9/16-28 tap to install. Brownells does not sell this size tap (or has it hidden very well). My stock has holes in it while I wait for what appears to be a fairly rare tap from a specialty dealer.
