Good accessory
I have several of these on Ruger Blackhawks & Super Blackhawks. They are especially useful when using a low mounted scope, as they allow easier cocking of the hammer by hand. I would recommend them to others for this use. Mike Holmes
Good product, but
I did have to shim between the hammer and the extension in order to keep it tightened on the hammer. The looseness of fit allowed the set screw to lose it's grip. Shimming the extension slot took care of the problem. Use loctite on set screw. Great product if using a scope.
Does not fit a USRAC 94AE
This did not fit on my circa year 2000 USRAC 94AE hammer. It will just start on the end but runs into the top grooves. The sides and bottom of my hammer are smooth. I could likely file it to fit, but I lack confidence in the retention system. It is held in place with very small and deeply recessed set screws, so I'm skeptical about their long-term durability and the risk of getting stuck in place.
I don't think I'll ever use it, but it's too inexpensive to bother returning.
