A must have accessory.
There is no way that I would even own a Buckmark without this feature. Should you get a dud round or a FTF event, after the trigger is pulled, that slide is near impossible to recycle unless you get a Channel Lock on it. Seriously. I had a buddy, former Marine, next to me in the gun shop that could NOT pull that darn slide back after the trigger was pulled on an empty chamber. The upshot is that one of three grown men could cycle the slide in that configuration. The other two men - myself included - could not. Yes, if you own a Buckmark, you need a Tandemkross halo charging ring. Brownell's came through smoothly with the package showing up fully intact in my mailbox. Great purchase for a great firearm!
Solves gun sticking when uncocked
My Buckmark Camper is a great handgun but was extremely difficult to rack when uncocked. The halo ring was very easy to install and totally solved this issue.
Newer Brownings need this
Just got the 2019 shotshow buckmark rifle and the only thing missing that should have been added was this Halo devise. With a scope this is a must. Unlike other gizzys that TK has this one actually serves a purpose.
Buy This...You Won't Regret It
Bought this for a new Buckmark that I had given my elderly father for Christmas. The arthritis in his fingers prevented him from pulling the slide back. Tried different methods of actuating the slide to no avail. This charging ring was a lifesaver ! Installed in 30 seconds, worth every penny. He now can actuate the slide with ease, even with the hammer down. It's very well made, fits precisely on the slide, and doesn't affect the functioning . Adds no appreciable weight. The pistol won't fit in the plastic case with it installed, but, who cares. Until Browning remedies this condition, this is a must for anyone with difficulty actuating the slide.
HALO is highly recomented
I have a Browning Buck Mark URX Contour. I use the Buck Mark for Steel Challenge. I bought the HALO in order to make loading/reloading easier. It really makes operation of the pistol a lot easier. It took me 1-2 minuts to install the HALO. No problems at all. I highly recoment this product. Great quality and a joy to look at when mounted on the pistol. I am very satisfied with my purchase.
Not for Carbines!
This unit fits well, is practical to charge FA but caused mine as well as another riffle on the range to fire out of battery. Glad it was a 22 & not something larger that you for bull barrels. As much as I can figure out the bolt bounces but the hammer still drops the round ignites as the bolt is bouncing leaving the rim exposed. It did this on a few occasions and stopped after I removed the unit.
