Our Tech Department gave this aerosol finish five stars. A super-tough, professional-looking stock finish applied in only hours without runs or sags. Fills as it coats so you won't spend extra time cutting-back or sanding in. Dries to the touch in only 45 minutes and can be recoated in as little as six hours. Specially formulated, oil-modified urethanes resist scuffs and scratches but provide the look and feel of traditional, hand-rubbed oil finishes, without all the hard work. Will not cloud or discolor with age; dries to a uniform satin finish without the aggravating splotches so common in many aerosol "furniture" finishes.

excellent stock finish

I have been refinishing gun stocks for over 50 years. This is a time consuming job usually taking 3 to months turn around time. This finish can do the same high quality job but in 3-4 weeks which means better delivery time to customers and better cash flow to my business. I highly recommend this product to pros and beginners alike.Very durable finish.

So much easier than hand applying finish

So much easier to use than other hand applied oils and finishes. End results look fantastic with some shine, but not plastic. Very very attractive and easy to use. Surface prep is key. Pore fill and don’t sand too fine. This will build and self level with finishing coats.

good stuff

I use this as a final coat over tung oil or tru oil. It leaves a smooth satin finish and is durable.

Chem-Pak Stain Finish

I have been using this for a few years to Finish Stocks. It is the best thing I have used. You need to the prep of the stock to a great detail. This after a few coats will give you that Professional job. Laminate Stocks in most cases need more coats to fill small dents.

Great stock finish!

I use the Product to finish gunstocks. It has all the qualities I look for in a stock finish. I am happy to report that a problem with the spray nozzles that allowed finish to escape alongside take-up tube has apparently been corrected, as I have not had the problem appear in recent shipments. I would like to see a return of availability of gloss version even though I mostly use the satin gloss. There are some occasions when a high gloss finish is desired.

My go to finish for wood

I have been using this for years, puts a great finish on wood and when applied correctly it makes any wood stock pore free and looking brand new. Always clean the tip after each use as directed in the instructions and it will give great results.
