If you only change one thing on your 10-22, make this it! In my opinion, this fixes the most annoying part of the 10-22. With this little piece installed, you no longer have to fumble around trying to use both hands to release the bolt. When the mag is locked back, just pull back on the charging handle and allow the bolt to go home! The lockback operates the same as before. Just a heads up to any builders, this may not work with some trigger groups and other products(some of which already have this installed).

Nice Upgrade to your 10/22
Installs like your original factory bolt release. Locks back bolt in the same manner as the factory bolt release, but gets rid of the annoying requirement to push the bolt release 'up and back' to release the bolt. Just pull back on the bolt handle and let it fly home. Because this is a dedicated part, the pivot hole has been simplified, reducing the 'hit or miss' of locking back the bolt. Also, you retain your factory bolt release should you ever wish to go back to factory configuration. All in all a well-made and finished part at a great price.
Just buy it!
If you're thinking of buying this, just do it. Installation was easy and the results are great. No more fumbling, pushing and pulling to release a locked bolt.

Took 5 minutes to install in my 40+ year old 10/22. Took it to the range & ran 100 rounds through it. Works great. So much easier.
