I always add this to my Glocks.
It helps me drop the slide without having to significantly alter my grip. Another trick is replacing the mag release on a standard width gun with a wide frame gun (10mm/45 auto). It makes it more prominent so I can reach it easier with either thumb.

Big improvement on my G19 Gen4
