I use this in several 5.56, .223 Wilde rifles. 20 barrels rifles with either 1-8 and and 1-7 twist rates. This ammo is loaded with the Hornady T2 75 gr. BTHP bullet. I prefer heavier weight bullets in my 20 barrel long range rifles for their better long range ballistics. This load is fairly hot for a 5.56 factory cartridge. Hornady lists this at 2960 FPS from a 20 barrel and this is accurate. I typically dial .1 MIL lower elevation at 300 - 500 yard steel targets with this cartridge than I do with a similar 75 gr. .223 load that I have used in these rifles. Steel at 500 yards with this load is childs play.

I’d give it a five star if it weren’t for so much powder burn. I feel like I’m shooting a modern musket. It shoots true and well tho, so I’d buy again.
