Scope covers.
Used for 40 years. Great protection and easy to use.
Value buy compared to most other lens cover.
fits right and stays tight
This fit my scope just right and stays on well. Tight fit that does not leak. Protects my rear eye lens from dust, dirt, and scratches. Silent opening and closing operation. Just an all around great scope lens cover..
Works Perfect
I had my doubts as I had seen these fit loose. Mine didn't, it fit the scope very tight and works very nice.
Good Scope covers at a fair price
I have these on at least 4 different scopes. They fit well and are reasonably priced. Tough to beat Butler Creek.
Nikon M-223
This cover will fit the Nikon M-223 eye piece end of the scope nicely. However, the M-223 has a rubber +/- adjustment that the cover has to go over before it connects with the scope body. Therefore when installing it you need to do two things: 1. properly adjust the eyepiece and 2. get some glycerin (at the pharmacy) and coat the eyepiece and the inside of the scope cover and carefully slide the cover over the rubber. You may have to adjust where the red flip switch is located in order to let the cover pop open to where you want it. Do NOT use oil in place of the glycerin as it will degrade the rubber. Glycerin is safe for rubber.
Works very well
these fit very snugly on my scopes. just press right on and you are ready to go. U used them on my Nikon Prostaff Slug Hunter and my Nikon muzzleloading scope all fit like a golve
Fits Vortex Viper 6.5-20x50 Scope
Butler Creek #18 flip open scope cover fits my Vortex Viper 6.5-20x50mm scope eyepiece very snug. 308 recoil will not rattle it off and it doesn't interfere with viewing your target. Just push it on to your eyepiece to install.
Yup, it's a lens cover
It's a lens cover. Size is right and cap opens/closes properly. Seems like a little thing, but these little plastic doohickeys are what keeps that expensive optic useful in bad weather. Some people report problems getting their caps to fit properly. Either they aren't ordering the right size cap, or they don't know how to install these. If they're too tight, don't force it--warm them with a hair dryer and slide them on. If the cap doesn't stay closed, it's on too far. Most of my comment is for Brownells shipping staff----KUDOS!!! Ordered on Friday, received on Monday, using only the cheapest USPS option. Thanks guys!
About the best choice out there
These scope covers are great. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is that I'm a lefty and these scope covers are impossible to position on a left-handed bolt-action without either the bolt handle hitting the cover button or the opened cap as you cycle the action; problem solved if you use an "objective" style cover on the eye piece. No problem at all on a semi-automatic, though.
