For many years I have wanted a borescope but hadn't found one for the average consumer. This came along at a reasonable price, so I scooped one up. I've only used it on a few rifles, but it has been amazingly helpful already! Used it on a rifle that shoots fairly well but was also new. Ran it down the bore after a shoot and was amazed at the grime. Then I cleaned it with some normal solvent and patches until they came out clean. Ran the scope down the bore to see how I did and was horrified to find huge amounts of very clean copper still coating the bore. Ran some ISSO bore paste patches thru it, and looked again - much better now, but still a mess. Had to repeat this a couple of times, and it's still not perfect. Now that it's clean, I can see how rough the rifling really is in this barrel; mostly in the grooves, but the lands also have a lot of what might be described as chatter marks from the cutter which are obviously a major cause of the copper fouling. This thing looks like it needs a serious bore lapping. I never could have determined this with a flashlight down the bore. I was also able to do a close inspection of the chamber of another rifle that was having feed problems and determined there is a slight burr on the rear of the chamber that I need to remove. This was also not visible with other methods. Bottom line, I'm really happy with it so far. It has a nice, bright, clear picture, and is simple to use. Only gripe might be that the case is a bit small since the small box with the mirror devices seems like an add-on that the case wasn't built for and is just crammed in there, and I seem to have an extra cable that does not appear to work with the flexible probe. I can deal with that.

I got this for my husband that said he "needed" it. When it arrived he was uncertain of his "need" for this scope. He thought about it for a few days, then took it out and charged it up. He likes the size and the clarity of the images, and the mirrors are great for looking in all sorts of tight spaces, not just bores.

Had used a less expensive brand that was supposed to be good - sadly disappointed. The Teslong flexible bore scope and screen worked very well from .22 to .54 calibers. Image was clear and use of adjustable lighting made the difference in highlighting issues. Ability to take photos is a plus!! There is a separate rigid scope attachment if you wish but I didn't need it. Highly recommend.

Great for chamber and barrel inspection. Makes carbon ring removal certain.

I’ve been very happy with this purchase it’s a very clear view from my 223 to 50 caliber ,honestly there’s no cons with this bore scope

All around excellent tool that shows everything you need to know about a barrel from muzzle to breach in high-definition. Stores still images and video. Monitor controls are as easy to use as a tv remote. Mirrors are high quality. Case is designed to be durable and protects the tool well. Tool has already payed for itself.

Works great to see the inside bore of your rifle and will give you a good look at the condition of your bore and rifling. My only suggestion for improvement would be that this particular unit have variable lighting control and maybe provide just slightly higher lumen output. My only complaint is that the mirror for .38 bore had burrs on the thread and I can not fully thread the mirror onto the probe and I’ll have to chase that thread with a tap to resolve that issue.

Great for checking how clean you've gotten your barrel. Also any wear or anomalies.
