Howa 6.5 Creedmoor 16.5" Action Install
Took my Howa 16.5" action out of the original rubber stock and installed onto this stock and i love it!!! Test fitted a 5 rd magpul 308 mag and it works. A little difficult to remove, but works. Love the adjustable cheek riser.

Nice stock!
Great stock for the money, and finally available for the Howa 1500. The availability of this stock finally made me pull the trigger on a barreled action. Very similar to a Bravo. Has a plate under the barrel which worked great to add lead.
Con: Mags fit VERY tight, bought a MDT mag and it's a little better, but have a lot of AICS mags. Hoping this gets better with use or I might need to do some careful filing.
Better than expected!
I received my MDT Field Stock for my Howa 1500 6.5 Creedmoor 24" barrel action, which I had previously purchased. I was a little hesitant to buy this as there aren't many reviews yet. One of my worries was that the aluminum chassis does not go all the way up to the end of the fore grip as in the XLS and would therefore allow excess flex. After mounting, I am no longer concerned. This thing is much stiffer than I expected. Much more so than my Hera H7 on my Howa 308. I can't wait to try it at the range!

Was not what I had expected after talking with technical support…. Stock and howa barrel were not compatible, even though I was told they would work together. Disappointed
