Perfect upgrade
I put this on a factory rem 700 adl that I swapped to a bdl. The rifle is chambered in 6.5 creed with a sporter contour. No inletting necessary. It will need to be spot bedded, but I believe that is to be expected. With swapping the stock and adding a bdl floor plate it reduced the overall weight by 0.5 lbs from the plastic factory stock. Total rifle weight is at 7lbs even with leupold rings and a vx-3 3.5-10x40. The reduced weight did shift the balance forward, but not enough to make if feel uncomfortable. I am pleased.

Super Lightweight
CA Stock is light and fit the standard sporter profile pretty good. Next is to touch up the trough in a couple areas to float the barrel and then to bed the lug/receiver assembly.

Not advertised
On sale it’s not a terrible deal, but WAY heavier than advertised and they did away with actual pillars.

Not Great
Says it fits Remington 700 footprint, but I’ve had my hands on 5 of these stocks so far and everyone has had to be altered to fit a Remington 700 bottom metal. Definitely super lightweight but plan on altering. My last one I got had some cosmetic blemishes, not terrible visually but you could definitely see it. Just holding the stock you could feel the spot it where it was touched up

Not worth the money!
It does not fit a Remington 700 action foot print. My action would not go into the stock at all. I was expecting to bed the recoil lug but the action would not fit in to bed it. Also, the Remington bottom metal wasn't even close to fitting into the stock. I would have had to cut the stock down at least 1/16" to get it to fit. The 3rd problem was the finish, there were mill marks from one end to the other and not just visually noticeable but deep enough you could feel them. 4th, the recoil pad was installed off center. Very poor workmanship. I own 3 Christensen rifles and have loved all of them BUT these stock, at least the one I purchased, are not worth the money. I wanted this one for the lite weight on my custom built 300wsm. I will buy a Macmillan and go on down the road.
