I have used multiple sizes in both rifles and pistols, especially match firearms. When accuracy is claimed to drop off, I have polishes with imbedded and non-imbedded media with outstanding results every time. Quality pistols and rifles sometime don't get a complete cleaning through regular maintaining, this method has always restored accuracy.

Pretty Good
The felt pellets themselves work pretty well. They're are absorbent and hold together when cleaning. I do prefer the VFG pellets but they're often out of stock so I gave these a try. They're a little loose when using the Tipton jag (which has very fine threads on a very thin shaft) but fit the barrel much better when using a Brownell's - VGF 2 or 3 pellet adapter or the VFG 8/32 thread adapter, Brownell's #929110607, which also includes a nut to hold the pellets on. I took off one star because the Tipton jag doesn't hold the pellets on if you're scrubbing/polishing and happen to do a reverse stroke. The fine threads on the thin shaft also do not allow for screwing the pellets on more to achieve a tighter fit in the barrel.

Ingenious product.
I bought the 6mm/.243 version and used it at a match to "pre-clean" my barrel with solvent before driving home; where I did a more thorough cleaning with standard patches. The pellets worked fine, but weren't as "tight" as normal patches even though I had applied enough solvent to soak them. The next time I'll try a 6.5mm pellet in my bore to see if it works better. Don't lose the adapter which is supplied with each package of pellets.
