Ruger MK II Mount for Burris Fast Fire III
The mount was competitively priced and shipped quickly. It fit perfectly and was easy to install. I would buy one again if needed.

Made it work on a 5906 S&W
Took a chance to see if I could make it work on a 5906 S&W with Novak style rear sight. Mount is made for 1911. with little file work I got it to fit the Smiths Dove tail cut. Mounted solid and mounted my Speed Bead III to it. Probably would work with about any Novak style rear sight dovetail.

Novak Speed Bead mount.
Bought this mount to see if it could be adapted to a S&W 5906 with a Novak style site. Had to use a Dremel tool to fit the dove tail insert to the 5906s dove tail. After a bit of grinding to slide and insert I got a good tight fit. Optic then bolted up to dovetail platform. Sighted it in with my laser bore sighter at 25 yds. will need to shoot it to see if it holds zero.

Good Product
Good product and works fine once I got it on. the dovetail was smaller than I thought so it took a fair amount of pounding to get it into place, and in doing so I collapsed one screw hole. I learned my lesson and kept the screws in the plate base while I filed and drove it in. Works like a charm. The plate keeps the Fastfire sight ready and solid. Photo is upside down. though.

Excellent Mount for Mk IV Lite
I purchased this to mount a Vortex Venom red dot sight on a Ruger Mk IV 22/45 Lite. Yes the 22/45 came with a rail and the Venom came with a picatinny mount but it made the red dot sit very high on the weapon. I found that very unnatural and difficult to aim the pistol without searching for the dot. I removed the complete rear sight and the rail from the pistol to use this mounting plate. This mount uses the dovetail on the receiver for it's attachment plate and makes the red dot sight sit much lower to the barrel so aiming and acquisition are much more natural making it easier and faster. It works absolutely great. Since The mount doesn't mention the Mk 4 Lite as compatible and it is made for a Burris sight I called Brownells and they confirmed that it would work for my setup, and work it does. I definitely recommend this for mounting a micro red dot to a 22/45 Lite. Came with screws and tool, mounting was easy as pie.

Fits Para Expert Commander &Expert 14-45
I removed the rear fixed sights from my Para Expert Commander and 14-45, both purchased new in December 2014. Using calipers I determined the sights are both 0.030 base width and 65 degree dovetails, contrary to information I had found in google searches. I bought this base for my Fastfire 3. The piece that goes into the dovetail is a thin piece of steel with 2 screw holes tapped. It is less wide than the dovetail base, so it easily slides into the dovetail and then wedges itself into the upper portion of the dovetail when the screws from the baseplate are tightened. I have shot over 500 rounds from my 14-45 and the sight has remained on perfect zero, I used blue Locktight on the mounting screws.

FastFire Mount for S&W M&P9
I installed this mount on my S&W M&P 9 with the UM TACTICAL Delrin 1.0 Degree Shim. I used a MGW sight mover tool to get the rear sight off (HARD). The replacement dovetail was easy to install with a few light taps of a hammer. I had no trouble zeroing the Fastfire III sight. After 20 rounds, the sight did not move. Only time will tell if it will hold zero. It should be noted that the mounting plate is held to the dovetail with two screws, but only the one on the left presses on the dovetail slot. The screw on the right presses on the spring loaded plunger spacer. My kit did not come with instructions, but when I called Burris about 3 washers included in the kit (they said they should not be used) they did not mention this.

P226r mounting
Just mounted this on my P226r 40 cal Sig last night. Had a gun smith press the factory rear sight out, but his press would not press the new dove tail in. I struggled finding the centerline, per the instructions I put the two screws in the dove tail and pressed it in wth a small C clamp and wood spacers. After that it all fit perfect and was easy. Going to the range today to sight it in. Will add to this when I return.

be careful
It is well know that some XD rear sight are extremely tight. Mine was very difficult to remove and that did not make the new rear sight easy to install. It started very easy and then began to get very tight when it was about half way in. Because Burris uses aluminum for the new dovetail base, it bent and deformed after the fit became tight. I'm going to try another, but if this base bends, then I'm going to have to try an integral base that does not have a separate dovetail.
