Makes Stripping Easier

Firearm: Glock 19 GEN 3 (NEW). Installation was super simple and makes stripping the firearm much easier. The reason I gave 4 stars is because the slide tends to catch on the new slide lock lever (SLL) when replacing slide onto the frame. The action isn't quite as smooth as with the original SLL. In comparing the two, the front of the new SLL seems like it might be slightly less rounded which may contribute to the rougher action. This may subside with use; time will tell. All-in-all I am happy.

Top Glock Upgrade for under $20

That small extra length is enough to make it much easier to remove the slide for cleaning my Glock after time at the range, but not so much that it extends beyond the frame. Easy to install, easy to use.

Great Upgrade, with one Caveat

Item was easy to install, and makes it so much easier to grab the lock lever with my fingers. However, I must provide one caveat for anyone that has a similar problem. After installing the device I put the slide onto it and slid it back, but I physically cannot slide the slide all the way back unless I pull the lever tabs down while I do it, so don't expect the same ease of reassembly as with the factory slide lock lever. If you are fine having to manually pull the slide lock lever down for reassembly, then its a perfect product, otherwise I take a star off because its not as easy as sliding the slide back on and pulling it back until it clicks like with a factory slide lock lever. It's installed on a Gen 3 G19, so your mileage may vary depending on generation/model.
