EXPS3-2 HOLOGRAPHIC SIGHT Reviews & Ratings

This is my first optic purchase from Brownells and I’m not sure if y’all test items prior to shipping or not. But the packaging had been opened and the battery was already installed. Not sure if this was a return item or if y’all tested it prior to shipping. The optic seems to function properly, but I’m just wondering why the packaging had been opened. Thanks.

Right out of the box, first 3 shots was out of my custom built AR15. 50 yards on a 5x7 card. I hit just a little low and left. However, those first 3 shots through this Eotech EXPS 3-0 were nickel size grouping!!!! I was stoke already!! After a few clicks to correct windage and elevation, my 4th shot was dead center!!! Then I raised it out to my 10 inch steel gong at 100 yards and it hit dead center!!!! I was satisfied!! Saved ammo, saved money and time. The Eotech EXPS 3-0 was worth every penny so far. This is just my first impressions from the first few shots. The glass is crazy good. WIDE peripheral view having both eyes open and clearly seeing my target behind the red dot. The weight wasnt an issue for me as Ive read in other reviews. When reliability and safety becomes eminent, weight is not going to be an issue at all for me. My opinion. And thank you Browneles for and easy purchase and quick delivery on my purchase of this wonderful product.

I just wanted to take a moment to say what a truly great holographic sight Eotech makes, It is almost indestructible and yes I know about all the noise with wind drift and let me just say every optic made can have this issue and that was years ago and I truly believe Eotech has remedied that issue, For lightning fast target acquisition Eotech is way ahead of the others, yes even Acogs cant match the speed. Brownells, what can I say that hasnt already been said, super impressive, super friendly, and probably the most professional run company I have the great pleasure of dealing with from time to time.

This is my 2nd Eotech, I love them, the only downside is I have astigmatisms in both eyes, so I only get the models with 1 dot, not the EXPS3-2 or 3-4 etc. because the lines are blurred. I've taken out brand new shooters and they are able to hit targets out at 200-300 yards with no problem, such a great sight.

Great sight, and a great price from Brownells. Looked and studied many sights before making the decision on this model. Spent weeks researching other red dots and low power variables, it ultimately came down to this model and a competitive model that was highly regarded. The clincher for me was when looking at both sights while side by side, the Eotech has a much wider glass. Easy to mount, power on and adjust for brightness, I was in bright sunshine and needed a very low setting on the reticle in order to line up the target. The adjustments for windage and elevation could be more positive with the click movements as they can be positive at one point and iffy the next. All in all I am very pleased with the build quality and performance of this sight.

After being a bit skeptical before purchase, i am ready to write a small review. I wanted to use and shoot this thing for few months before giving it a thumbs up. I really like the factory quick detach mount. I also like the way the holographic display looks and functions. It is easy to use and fun to shoot. The battery seems to last as long as advertised. I am still on the first battery and going strong. You can leave it on for an advertised 25 full days before it quits. I enjoy the 1 MOA target dot center. This is very clean and crisp. I feel it helps me to aim with very good precision out to 2 - 300 yards.

At age 72...Shooting my (iron sights) CZ Scorpion was a real problem. My EXPS3 solved this negative issue instantly! The product far exceeded my expectation in every way! Expensive you bet! But worth every dollar this item demands. All claims the company makes regarding this product are absolutely true. The viewing screen is very wide and clear. The adjustable target circle is very bright and is not hard to find.. Point of impact adjustments are user friendly. Sight is not difficult to see in daylight. Cons? One item" There is a thin, small wire which runs (outside of body) from the battery compartment to the screen. It could get snagged on some protruding object. Which is unlikely...However there is always "Murphy's Law."

I always say you get what you pay for. This scope is built like a tank. Completely solid construction. The quick release latch is tight and holds true if you have to pull the scope off and put it back on. It is the correct height to co witness with normal flip up sights. The reticle is easy to zero with positive clicks on the dials. The two dot system seems to work just right with 5.56 ammo. The color is a bit odd, but blends well with FDE or tan. The night vision modes are nice and have enough adjustment to match the brightness to an illuminator. I would definitely recommend this EXPS series of Eotech scope.

I have had a 552 with 3x magnifier on my M4 for a few years and it's been great. I had the chance to try the new XPS3-4 on a buddies rifle... wow! The 4-dot ranging recticle works like a german "circle w/post" recticle at close range. It felt faster for target acquisition in the fun house than my single dot 552. We put a steel 12 inch gong out at 600 yards, attached my 3x mag to my buddies rifle, and pushed a few mags of 62gr issue ammo though his 14" 1/7 M4 barrel: we had that gong singing off his bipod! This is far better at distance then the guesstimating I have to do with my single dot. I sent a few 75gr match rounds down range as well, but they looked like they were hitting low (as expected, since the XPS was sighted in with XM855). I suspect the recticle would work ok with the heavier bullets, once you sighted them in, but make sure and confirm that before packing for the rock garden!

This is a sweet setup. Ive had the XPS2-0 and the 2nd dot is great for extended range engagements. I am very happy with this item. The quick detach base is an awesome addition and I think that EOTech should do this to all of their holos.
