These Handle Bags were designed for F-Class shooters. The stiff handle makes the bag a lot easier to carry to the firing line, and the larger footprint of the bag base makes the bag more stable for shooting off the ground. These would be excellent bags for varmint hunters who move to new firing points frequently.

Simply the best

Highly functional, exceptional construction! Stability of the butt stock is paramount to small groups, & this where this bag shines. The split between the ears allows for a rock solid gun mount. Handle makes easy to transport to the bench or shooting mat. I would buy it again!!!!

Great design

I use this bag mostly for benchrest .22LR target shooting, but will also be using it for a hunt -- should balance the front of my gun nicely on the hood of my pick-up for varmint shots. For benchrest, it makes a great, stable rear platform. My stocks glide smooth and secure. I position the handle forward and use the front of the bag as a hand rest sometimes. The handle is GREAT! -- Makes carrying 15 lbs comfy. Fills full and very firm. Looks like it will last long enough to be inherited someday. Absolutely top shelf stuff. You know your money was well spent once you use it for the first time.

Most wonderful bag of all

The craftsmanship on these bags is second to none. The design is perfect for F-Class use. Fill this with Sinclair heavy sand and you will have the most stable rear bag available. The carry handle makes is invaluable if you have to carry this bag up and down the line. The mini gator snout is a perfect hand rest. The bag does not slide on the ground like some lesser expensive makes. It even has great instructions. Buy the best first, you will not regret it.

Product is well made, as it should be for the price. I ordered 2 bags of heavy sand and it didn't even use 1 bag. So if your ordering this rest buy 1 bag of sand you will have plenty left over to top off once it settles in.

Dog Ear Stitching came undone

I bought this from Brownells probably 6-7 years ago and put through regular use. Think about what these bags are designed for--taking a pounding. The stitching on 3 of the inside edges of the dog ears came apart. The stitches didn't break, but the fabric came unraveled that held the stitches. Meaning the inside of the dog ear fabric should be stitched first or seamed first before the final stitching. So I have had to re-stitch them all including preventative stitching in other areas. This should not occur especially for such a high priced product. Their warranty is long enough.
