Engineered with superior ergonomics and built to withstand the harshest conditions, the Echelon™ 4.5" 9mm handgun sets a new standard for modern, striker-fired duty pistols. With a host of patent pending features, this modular pistol is designed around a robust stainless steel chassis. In addition, a revolutionary optics mounting system allows for unparalleled adaptability with a broad range of optics. Fully ambidextrous, the Echelon features a U-Dot or 3-Dot sight system for fast target acquisition and includes two magazines.

The all-new Central Operating Group is self-contained and serialized, providing a robust housing for the patent pending operating system.

Tritium U-Dot Sights

The tritium-powered U-Dot sight picture of the Echelon is intuitive, accurate, and fast.

3-Dot Tritium Sights

For enhanced day and night visibility, self-illuminating tritium inserts are housed within the 3-dot sight system on the Echelon.

Variable Interface System

Smooth as silk

Ole scol vet , and I haven’t bought a pistol made in this century. All my S&W 3rd gen’s have kept me safe and sound for ever. I was looking for a new pistol for my wife. It had to be light, hold a bunch of ammo and be able to bolt on a green dot. I love the low bore axis on the slide like those CZ’s. Keeps the barrel on target. I mounted a Holosun 507 ex on it, an let my wife fire it first. She shot more in one day than she did all year. This gun fast and sweet. Love it.

Next Generation

I own Springfield Armory Hellcats. The Pro is my preferred carry. The Echelon is different. Its features make it a dream to shoot. It is the most versatile Handgun I have ever owned. At least 30 different red dot sights will fit. The trigger group can be removed and placed in a different frame. A rear night sight is available. Ambidextrous controls for the slide release and magazine release. 10,17 and 20 round magazines available. I have 200 rounds through and am happy, it’s a shooter. I will update my review after 500 rounds.

A Sweet New Pistol From Springfield

I just shot this new Springfield pistol this morning at a demo shoot. I haven't bought it (yet), but for a first time shoot I got a nice tight 10 round grouping at target center (at 20 ft, indoor range). I impressed myself, and that doesn't happen every day. The gun felt very good in my grip, well balanced, sweet to shoot. The double stack mags give either 17 or 20 rounds capacity. This is definitely a gun I will be watching to purchase.
