solved failure to eject

My new Buckmark Camper (2019) had frequent stovepiping and fail to eject with all brands of ammo. This 'Eagleclaw' part completely solved the ejection problems. Intallation is easy with directions on web and a 'dental pick.' Did have issue with failure to go into battery on installation. Solved by using 2000 grit sandpaper to 'buff/deburr' leading edges of the new extractor. I still give 5 stars because in the end it made gun VERY reliable. You may or may not need to modify it on your gun. Thousands of rounds later, not a single issue. No longer finicky of ammo type. Highly recommend the upgrade if you have ejection issues.

Perfect fix and upgrade

Old Buck Mark pistol's extractor was rounded off on the corner causing constant malfunctions. Got this after some research and very simple install and no fitting required. Took the pistol out to ensure it worked and it ran 100% with no more failures. Look up how to remove the extractor on the Buck Mark because it's different but easy enough to do with a small punch.

Very good ... but not exactly drop-in

To be sure, this is a quality part ... but it's not exactly "drop in" (at least not on my Buck Mark). The extractor hook was a bit oversize, preventing the cartridge rim from sliding up into the bolt face. Stoning the extractor to fit and adding a slight entrance angle to the cartridge engagement surface (to help with feeding) is not difficult ... not really different than typically what needs to be done with any extractor. Very little material needs to be removed. And while you're at it, you might as well order a new extractor spring (Brownells no. 149-200-456WB). If the old extractor is worn out, the spring is likely done as well.

Once fitted, runs 100%

Replaced a balky factory extractor with the TK Eagle Claw, but extraction got worse until I rounded over the sharp edges, stoned a little bit off the tip length and checked that the extractor was no longer digging into the rims of almost all brands of .22 ammo. A trip through a parts vibratory honer at factory would be worth while!
