Wheeler Engineering AR-15 Roll Pin Kit

After using all of the components in this kit, I felt for the cost it was a very good investment. The tool quality seems to be good also for the price. I would recommend this item to other shooters.

Great for beginners.

This kit addresses all of the more difficult parts of building an ar lower receiver and makes them extremely easy. First time builder and I didnt run into any issues thanks to this kit.

Great Starter Set

I am new to AR builds and this kit is perfect to get you started. Comes with a nice case to keep everything handy.

Got the job done

So far I have only used this kit to remove and install one Hand Guard and A1 style Front sight/gas block. The hammer is too light and I used a solid brass hammer I already own to get the original pins out of the A1 Front Sight/gas block. Other than that the punches are the correct size and type for AR rifles. I also used one of the roll pin punches to remove and install an extended bolt stop on an M1A. Worked well. Note I always tape up the receiver, barrel, etc with painter's tape to prevent scratching or dinging the gun.

Delta roll pin kit . ? on Quality .

Nice kit but ? CON The metal used on the punches mushroomed under light use . So i up graded the punches with STARRETT brand better metal made in USA . So the kit is ok with a up grade on punches . And yes i know all punches will mushroom at some point but should stay good under light use .

Good kit but my roll pin install clamp is not straight.

Excellent little install kit but the roll pin installation clamp is crooked. The plunger/bolt is not straight. It screws downward at a slight angle which may prevent it from working properly/lining up correctly with the part you are working on.

Poorly made

Poorly made , i bent 3 punches on first use

Punches bend

Do not waist your money on this. The two smaller punches will bend rendering them useless. Buy punches from a reputable tool maker.
