Effort required for installation but worth it
I have three Vortex scopes, two of that are the same size externally. The scope caps fit very snugly and are very secure once installed. Getting them installed can be a chore and is best accomplished by opening the cover and pressing the sleeve outward from the inside to stretch it around the ocular bell. I was able to install them without using any lubricant. Overall, I like the protection level and will install them on all my Vortex scopes in the future. They should work on other scopes too.

Yes, I would recommend to a friend
Quality is very good, fitment is terrible
I used my calipers to determine the diameter of the scope bell and eye piece before ordering as I should have. But the scope covers will not install at all without some kind of stretching or heating or greasing or something else. I did not want to harm my scope or the covers, so I guess I just have a set of covers I may never use. My scope eyepiece needs to rotate for focusing but the covers do not allow that. Same for the forward bell's functioning. I think these covers are for fixed power less expensive scopes than mine. They are nice covers, though, just not what I need. There should be more data offered in the description, so others do not make the same mistake. Brownell's choice of shippers was terrible in this instance, though, as it appears the covers were lost "somewhere" for about three days or so.

Good snug fit on these caps. I had a hard time finding cap that would fit my scope and they fit perfect
Work great
Put these on all my optics. Well made and hold up to my abuse.
Good Quality
Fit my Strike Eagle 6x24x50 nice and snug. As to durability time will tell.
Perfect
Perfect fit for a Strike Eagle 6-24x50. Time and range trips will tell as to durability of the caps.
Prefer these over all the others
I have tried many different scope lens caps and these are my favorites. They are very rugged and flip as tight against the scope body as possible. Because they stretch they will fit slightly different sizes within their rated range. They are subject to being peeled off position as some complain about, but I solve that by putting a turn of electrical tape around the junction between the lens cap and the scope body. Then I put camo tape over everything: keeps the caps in position and protects the scope from minor dings.
Great Fit
I Use the defender caps with my Vortex Diamondback Rimfire scope On a 10/22 clone. The fit is perfect, and performance is excellent. The caps are easy to install and easy to use while in the field. Durability has been outstanding to this point.
