Decap Die Works well
Easy to setup, and performs as advertised. You can deprime brass without cleaning it first, and no lube required. After removing the spent primers, I clean the primer pockets and then remove the crimps. Then the brass goes in the tumbler! This extra first step is worth the effort. Also, it’s necessary to fist remove the spent primer if you want to measure the case’s headspace using a Wilson shoulder setback micrometer & gage. The decap die really is a useful tool.

Universal decapper
Instead of tumbling cases then doing a resize / decap with carbide dies, I now decap with this new die and then tumble allowing cleaning media to clean out the primer pockets. Works great. Good idea.

Very economical and works well when you just want to remove primers before cleaning brass and then resizing.
Inexpensive goodness, lee greatness can't go wrong with this product
Less expensive here than other decaping Dies and companies both. Half the price of others. Works really well with crimped primers. Second day of use decaped enough 556 brass to break rcbs's decaping pin but not this one. This went double up and didn't even hiccup. The rcbs's decaping pin exploded in pieces on an extra tough crimp. Partially pushed the primer out before shattering in three pieces+. Lee's hasn't done that yet and not for sure it ever will. Decaped the same lot and batch of brass as it was large amount so the crimps had to be close to each other.
Will the pin break? Eventually some day it probably will. To be honest I only broke 2 rcbs's pins in as many years on same type and brand of brass and they are tough but using Lee's decaper if I break a pin I can replace it from one of my lee pistol dies until I get around to purchasing a new one. Rcbs uses a specific type of pin and it's not the same as their reloading dies so the time I needed a replacement all I could get was a 50 pack and no 5 packs available. This is a good reason to own Lee as it can be very convenient not to mention they are as tough as any other options for press mounted dies.
Can't go wrong with this product. Every bit worth the bucks .
Truly Universal (Within Limits)
Lee's Decapping Die is pretty universal. It works with any Boxer primed center fire caliber up through .30-'06, and probably a lot more. One very good feature is that the decapping pin is held in place by a collet at the top of the die. That means that, if you mess up and try to use it on a case that's Berdan primed, or that has a rock inside, you probably won't break the pin. Instead, as you raise the press ram, the depriming pin rod will slide up through the collet. You have to loosen the collet and readjust the pin after that, but you don't have to replace it. The current version of this die has Lee's "spline" lock ring rather than one with flats, and it comes in a very clever hinged single-die box.

Excelent for decapping cases in order to measure shoulder to case head distance before altering case geometry in the full length resizing die so precise shoulder bump can be adjusted.
Works perfect for me
I mainly use it to deprime crimped .223 brass and it's a LOT easier than the handheld decapping tools. I deprimed about 600 .223 cases in about 50 minutes on a single-stage press. I'm sure I can speed that up a bit with some more practice.
Great Product
This works great! I have deprimed everything from 6.5 grendel to 300WM. I really like decapping before cleaning and resizing. it makes the resizing so much easier.
