Great tool

This is a very simple and accurate way to check shoulder bump and cartridge length based on the ogive when setting cartridge length for your specific firearm. I found it to be very consistent in measuring when used with a good set of calipers. Always follow the instructions as I jumped in first and found I had the Allen head screw holding up the blade on my calipers then read the instructions on how to properly set it up. There is a reason why it comes with two Allen wrenches. Another quality tool from Brownells.

Must Have If You Are Serious

For the very best fit in each rifle you own the right measuring tools are critical. I used Hornady for a long time but this one is now my favorite. Rifle ammo takes way more effort and care than pistol. You need accurate numbers to build accurate loads. Expensive like all great tools.

Wonderful, accurate tool!!

I have been reloading for over 40 years, currently doing 35 ctgs. I saw a 'review' of this tool in a magazine a year before it was announced. Owning a small machine shop, I made a bunch of Datum tools. The quality of this tool is supurb! It is accurate to < .0005". Quality is everything I have experienced with other Forester tools. This is going to be a huge seller....

As Promised

It makes consistency a reality for me. Easy instructions, set up in minutes. On the expensive side however if you want repeatable results its a must. For the price you would think it would include premium calipers. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is reloading, beginners to a professional.
