Recoil Pad
The pad is great, just what I wanted. I am waiting to hear from my gunsmith as to whether I ordered the correct size.

Packmayr Decelerator has good recoil absorption and many of my customers prefer them.

No problem ! Found easily and flush fit sides and bottom . Cut recoil admirably.

Packmayr never disappoints the professionals. And the 752B trally tames the 12ga SxS, when shooting the 3” heavy loads.
D752 pads
As far as I’m concerned, these are the standard for pads. Nothing else has worked anywhere near as well.
Just be sure you get the correct size, as there is an internal metal stiffener, and you can grind small enough to expose it. Lyman/Pachmayr has a size guide and a temples available. The youth size small has no stiffener for those applications where you need a very small pad.

Perfect fit
Had to wait a while for the pad to be back in stock, but the small size was the only pad that could be trimmed to the youth sized stock. Very pleased with the final outcome, customer was very impressed with his custom youth stock.

Pachmeyer Excellence As Expected!
You really cannot go wrong with Pachmeyer pads. I just wish this red or orange color was available in thinner thicknesses.
Brownells deliveries have slowed significantly from past years. It took them 4 days just to process the order. The actual delivery was then done quickly, i.e. 3 days.
The automatic $3 charge for delivery insurance is also not in keeping with Brownells of old who always guaranteed your delivery without an extra charge. I guess they are just trying to boost their profits!

Pachmeyer is still making the best pads. This one looks good on a classic shotgun. Grinds cleanly and takes a nice polish. Not like some other brands. Do not screw around with some new wiz bang pad of empty promises. Use a proven Pachmeyer pad that will still look good years from now and will not break down and go to mush.
