Perfect for home defense

This is what I have loaded in the first magazine for every rifle, pistol, and revolver that lives in the house. My carry pistols are loaded with Critical Duty, as are my second and third mags for the house guns, but for use inside my house I prefer the lower muzzle flash and penetration of the Critical Defense.

IMO, the most valuable ammunition available!

All I have to go by is the many reviews and articles written about Hornady's Critical Defense ammo, but the plethora of favorable reports convinced me to rely upon this for personal protection. I knew Steve Hornady 25 years ago, and a fine gentleman he was, so I have confidence in the company. A visual inspection of the bullet used in Critical Defense instills confidence ~ but remember...shot placement is your responsibility!

I believe picture is of “critical duty” round. Good stuff nonetheless.
