Well worth buying!
I soak a cotton mop with Kroil and let it sit for a few minutes. I then switch to a nylon brush with a single patch wrapped around the brush and put Isso or J B Bore Bright on it and scrub bore 10-20 times depending amount of carbon and copper. That gets the highest percentage of fouling out. Then use a copper solvent to finish. Sometimes it takes more than once.Check with a Borescope.

Great Bore mops
Very good bore mops I can use them for quite a while if you wash them off every few uses! They hold together very well and I only dispose of them when they shrivel up to a smaller size from exterme use!
Perfect for .308 Win chamber
These make the perfect final touch for cleaning the chamber of any .308 Winchester caliber firearm. Combine these with a .45 brush, whether it be nylon or bronze, and you'll have a mirror clean chamber every time.
16ga sucess
These mops are the only ones that I have found that work on my 16ga model 12. If you own a 16 ga you know how difficult it is to find cleaning supplies for it. These mops are life savers when it come time to polish up that bore.
Works good, lasts a long time!
Very good for applying J-B bore cleaning compound. When done, just drop it in a jar of salvent, and shake.
These do *not* fit .22 caliber bores as the description indicates
The drop-down menu says "22 caliber, 270/6.8" but the bore mops definitely do not fit .22 caliber bores. I returned them for a refund and bought actual .22 caliber bore mops from another vendor.
