Where to start...
There seems to be three levels of standard M1907 reproduction slings out there. The low tiered 25 dollar ones that are for looks, the top tier that are for shooting, and everything else. This sling fits in the everything else section. It's better than the ones for looks, but is near useless for Highpower. The reason I ordered this sling was because there were no Turner leather slings in the size I wanted. I used Turners for years in Highpower, and these Brownell slings are no Turners. The sling arrived dry as a bone. The keepers are not tight enough to hold in a shooting position. The sling feels cheap, had off rolled lines, and is no where near worth 50 bucks. It's probably as good as an original sling, but this would never stand up to shooting Highpower. If you are contemplating a shooting sling for actual use. Do yourself a favor and buy a real Turner. The only decent thing on this entire sling are the steel parts. That's just not good enough.
