High quality Redding product
By changing out the progressive shellholders you can alter shoulder setback to match your needs. After sizing, take the sized empty case to the rifle you are loading for and gently try to chamber it. The sweet spot is when the bolt closes with just the slightest hint of resistance. Almost perfect headspace.
Worked as advertised. Very pleased.
Using a shoulder bump gauge I found the the graduated shellholder's worked as accurately as I had hoped.
Proper headspace for reloads
An easily and quick adjustment to get proper headspace on your bottle neck reloads while full-sizing the .223 cartridge. Just start with the +.10 shell holder after setting-up your FL die in your press as usual, and will reduce headspace about 2 thousands. If you need more, just swap-out the +.10 for the +.08 or +.06 and so on and check each time. I can now properly set headspace for my AR or set for SAANI spec's. After a while, you will know what shell holder to use to get your proper headspace for each reload round. Simple and fast to use without making any inaccurate changes to your die when you screw out/in your die. Its advisable to have the "RCBS Precision MIC. for .223 REM" item 88304 so you can check how much your round expanded and how much you need to adjust each round for correct headspace.
Make cartridge headspace easy
The best accuracy a centrefire rifle can deliver usually requires hand-loaded ammunition that precisely fits the chamber. A Redding Competition Shellholder Set used with a Redding Body Die or FLS die provides a simple and straight forward method of resizing fired cases to neatly fit the chamber with a practical minimum of 0.001" to 0.002" of headspace clearance. For the most consistent results, use a good quality sizing lube such as Imperial Wax. Operate the press handle slowly when resizing, and allow the case to experience the full pressure of resizing for a few seconds at the top of the ram stroke. Cartridges properly prepared for hand-loading using this approach will chamber snugly and without resistance with the axis of the cartridge centrally aligned with the bore.

Useless Waste of Money
Following the directions, and using with a Redding press and die, I was unable to bump identical brass with any consistency whatsoever. I did not find this product useful at all, and it's grossly overpriced for a set of shell holders. Should be about $20 even if they are useful to you. I love made in the USA, and Redding is a good company, but I returned this product.
