I purchased the same magazine a few months ago as a test and it was perfect. The recent purchase jams on every round. The reason for the jams is pretty obvious; the heel of the mag is slanted, and since a 3rd series woodsman uses the heel to position the top of the magazine, the slant causes the mag / round to sit low in the mag well, not allowing it to feed properly. Tried Federal Auto, CCI Mini Mag, Federal Target, Aquila Super Extra, all 40 grain rnd nose.

Colt 22lr magazine

Just received a new mmm mag for my colt 22lr. The angle is correct how ever it will not lock in and is too long. This the second on that doesn’t work. The tech was very helpful but still don’t have the right magazine’s.

Hit or Miss

Plan on using for target practice to add to my single original magazine. Purchased two, however, one was a total fail the other was a so so fit and function. Doesn't like to freely slide into place or lock into position the same place every time. Have not fired yet, so uncertain on its function. More disappointed than pleased, especially since it is American made. Pre-war Colt Woodsman.
