Pre-War Colt Woodsman Magazine by Triple-K
I ordered two of them for my 1st Series Colt Woodsman Target Model. They do not work. They will not fully insert into the magazine well in my pistol's grip. The problem appears to be with the magazine button. Rather than being domed in shape it is squared off and cylindrical in shape. Triple-K claims they have thoroughly tested these magazines but obviously they failed to not the critical shape of the magazine follower button.

Triple K Colt Woodsman (late) Mag
Saw mixed reviews, so rolled the dice. And lost. This mag would never fit. Even after careful filing and manipulating the feed lips. Not correct dimensions, fit not close. Lips too tall and front lips too wide. While not an issue, base is longer than original, but didn't really affect anything. From other reviews, there must be a really bad quality control. If some work perfectly and others not at all, something is wrong. While some say it works fine, I'm not willing to roll the dice again. Very disappointed.

Don'y Waste Your Money
Ordered two of these at the same time. One was loose and barely usable. The other was so tight it got stuck in the mag well. After half an hour of slowly removing metal from where it was sticking, I gave up and threw it away in disgust. In hindsight, I should have just bought an original Colts magazine on e-bay.

Magazine does not fit
Bought 2 mags last week. Did not fit the handgun. Had to hand file and polish the front and rear tracks for the mags to fit. Took about an hour or so of concentrated fitting work. Bought 3 mags last year that fit from the package no work required. It appears that the quality check on the finished mags is no longer working. Once hand fitted the new mags work fine.

Didn't work
I have a 2nd series 1951 woodsman. The magazine didn't fit, and therefore obviously didn't feed. Brownell's made the return easy though, so there's that.

Didn't fit smoothly or feed rounds
Bought for a 3rd gen Huntsman (circa 1963). Magazine is too wide to slide in smoothly and when loaded with cartridges, the slide would go back but jambed on the mag and couldn't be slid forward into battery. Also, I don't think this magazine can be disassembled as it appears the bottom plate is hard attached to the sides (but I didn't try too hard).

Doesn't work in mine...
Needed it for my Colt Woodsman Match Target (1950). All info in the Q&A says this is the one I need (notch in mag, mag release on side by trigger guard, mag bottom angle parallel to barrel, etc). Loads in gun fine but can't release slide (hits mag lips and stops). If I load one cartridge into chamber, close slide, then insert the loaded mag, it works fine for all remaining shots.
