A timer that works
There are so many shooting timers out there these days. I love my Club Timer III because it is exactly what it is, a shooting timer. There are no complicated menus or apps that you need to open. You just go to the range and train. It gives you simple metrics of success to improve. Hat's off to the PACT guys. Thanks for a great product.

Easy to use
This is a simple device you can start using without reading the instructions. I have used it three times on an outdoor range and it makes shooting fun.
Great timer
Love the PACT timer!! My last one died(my fault not the timer and had lasted for 9 years). Immediately bought a new one from Brownells and havent looked back! Great timer, very durable (unless you land on it at full speed with gear on ) and easy to read and use!! Buy one! You wont regret it!
Awesome Timer
I have ran this PACT timer for several years now with no issues. When I first received it the range I ran was baffled so I had false shot splits due to echo. The instructions tell you how to minutely adjust so I called CS. They were great and again advised if I MUST adjust how to and go very slow. I made a tiny adjustment and it has worked flawless for over 5 years. It is a must have for a serious competitive shooter.
Simple and reliable
The PACT Club Timer is an excellent tool for any competitive shooter looking to improve their performance. It is incredibly easy to use, with a simple interface that allows you to quickly and easily set up and start a timer. The large display makes it easy to read and follow, even in bright sunlight. The timer is incredibly accurate, ensuring that you get an accurate reading every time. The compact design makes it easy to carry around and use wherever you need it. Overall, the PACT Club Timer is an excellent investment for anyone looking to take their shooting performance to the next level
Works Great
I'm quite pleased with this timer. My only complaint is the sensitivity adjustment is behind the battery, it requires a Phillips screw driver. It would be nice if it was adjustable via the keypad (electronically).
Good but Dated...
Satisfies the basic timer uses. May be "Ergo" but proven itself more difficult to hold than the std. flat rectangle most others have. Case is fairly slick but much enhanced with some type of "Grip-tape" ! Its odd shape makes one want to hang it from the neck if only to help with the fear of dropping it, but there is no neck cord or lanyard attachment point(s). If kept in a range bag, etc. it's a good idea to remove the 9v btry. when stored especially as this isn't sealed from moisture, etc. An adequate shot-timer, however it has fallen behind other makes in enhancements & functions so don't consider it a good buy especially given its MSRP.
PACT Club 3 timer is not user friendly!
This timer is effective but frustrating to learn. My first problem was the battery compartment: it is not easy to open (you need a knife point to help you) & once inside there are no markings for the positive/negative battery orientation (Instructions tell you to "BE CAREFUL OF BATTERY ALIGNMENT..." but give you no clue what the proper alignment is!). Secondly, the document is poor. The "expert" who wrote it never asked a customer, new to the timer, to review it. It is two pages long, text only without any diagrams. The PACT website does not have a copy of the instructions if you loose the original, you have to use Goggle to find a copy elsewhere on the WEB. Your best bet is to find someone who knows how use the PACT timer to show you how to use it. Once you get that expertise it's performs well.
