Got this for a spare. Really like the way the rods couple together, nice and straight, no flexibility like other rods. Like the adapter too.

Nice reproduction with a bonus
After giving away my original issued kit, I wanted to get a new but original mil-spec cleaning kit so that I could not only store it in the stock of my A4, but also use the locking handle to rotate the chamber brush (unlike civilian cleaning rods that spin). I had read so many reviews of other cheap knock offs, that I was on the fence about risking the $16 selling price. However, when it arrived I found it to be a perfect match in quality, finish, and thread pitch. But I also found it came with a bonus rod that could be used to attach commercial brand cleaning attachments as well. (BONUS). I like it so much I ordered a second and a kit with just the adapters to supplement the old one I gifted to my bride.
Military Cleaning Kit for Ar15
There is an adapter that is included with the cleaning kit. This adapter is threaded for commercial / civilian cleaning brushes. Brownells left instructions stating this fact. The T-handle swivels as you cleaning the bore of your firearm.
Poor quality
Thread section on handle snapped halfway down the bore. I had to pull it out with a vise. I can't even use the sections without the handle. Not worth returning.
