Outstanding!
I'm currently running Leica Geovid HD-B 10x42s and leave an older set of Leupold Gold Ring HD 10x42s in the truck full-time. Neither bino configuration lends itself to low profile adapters that you can leave on and still fit the binos into a chest harness. RRS nailed it with this adapter and it's aluminum cousin. My Geovids still fit perfectly in my harness and the RRS adapter does not get in the way of hand holding the binos. I currently use all Arca style heads but I did test it on a Manfrotto head. The Cinch-LR Polymer Adapter works perfectly with both. I highly recommend this adapter!
Great!!!
Ive had many different bino setups, from vortex, to field optics research, and so on! I absolutely love this so far. Never fumbling through my pack and a rock solid mount, Razor 10-42s on a VA-5 head and its a perfect fit with no need for that extra plate. It will fit in a arca window mount as well. Why did it take so long for this thats affordable!!??? RRS nailed it Im gonna eventually order the aluminum version as well!
Great product
This thing is awesome! I was about to buy the metal version at 3 times the price which Im sure is absolutely bullet proof especially considering the quality of really right stuff when a friend told me they came out with a polymer option. Im using on a set of leupold bx4 10x42 binos and it holds them super tight. Once you get it exactly how you want it it is very repeatable and very solid. Locks right into my rrs anvil 30 on top of my rrs tripod and its a trifecta of quality!
Love it.
I bought this to replace a ratchet strap style bino mount for some Leica Geovids. The ratchet style worked fine but you were limited on how tight it would grip the binos based on what tooth the strap settled into. This strap is infinitely adjustable so I can get good tension on my binos so they don't slip. It's lightweight and low profile. Setup took me like 30 seconds and the built in ARCA plate works great.
