CHAMBERMADE" CHAMBER IRONING SWAGE GUNSMITH TOOL

CHAMBERMADE" CHAMBER IRONING SWAGE GUNSMITH TOOL Reviews & Ratings

At a glance:

  • For the repair of any .22 caliber chambers that have been damaged by firing pin impact
  • Eliminates a very common cause of feeding and extraction malfunctions
  • Corrosion resistant, heat treated, for long lasting durability

Tandemkross has all done it! Dry firing the pistol seems harmless enough, but did you know that dry firing a rimfire pistol can create a small burr which can grow and deepen over time leading to feeding and reliability issues!

Now, thanks to the new TANDEMKROSS ChamberMade Ironing Swage, you can repair the breech face damage caused by dry firing. The new, handy ChamberMade Ironing Swage can be operated with a ¼” hex drive screwdriver from the chamber side or alternatively by attaching to cleaning rod inserted from the muzzle. Purchase your ChamberMade today and bring your breech face back to factory new condition!

Chambermade Swage tool for 22lr(Tikka T1x)
This tool saved my new Tikka T1x. I had just purchased my new rifle, an could not figure out why I was having so many issues feeding and ejecting rounds… I put in a new titanium firing pin, and was dry firing with it, and didn’t really that my 22lr Tikka is not supposed to be dry fired. (I believe the CZs don’t have that problem , but I’m not sure.)Obviously it is a rim fire, not a center fire, and after finding a video on UTube that Tandemkross explained the burr that was developing due to dry firing, I went ahead and purchased one, and it solved my problem. What a life saver! Frustration is gone ! Also learned a big lesson. I immediately purchased dry fire caps in case I ever need to dry fire again, not to damage the face of my action. I keep the tool with me just in case. The video also shows how to use the tool multiple ways with pistols and long rifles.

Great little tool to have around
I shot Precision Pistol and Silhouette for years. Sometimes no matter how careful you are, you dry fire 22 pistols that should not be dry fired leaving a burr that can prevent rounds from easily chambering. This tool will quickly and safely swage metal back in place without cutting. A couple drops of oil on the tool and it will have the chamber back perfect in a minute of use. It works on rifles just as easily. I would not be without one now.
