CFE® 223 is a spherical powder containing “Copper Fouling Eraser,” an ingredient originally developed for military propellants to greatly reduce copper fouling in barrels. Your barrel will give you its best accuracy for longer periods between cleanings, so CFE® 223 is great for Match, Varmint, and AR-15 competition shooters. It meters accurately to help yield consistent loads for top velocities in popular cartridges like 204 Ruger, 22-250, 223 Remington/5.56mm NATO, 6mm PPC, and 308 Winchester/7.62mm NATO.

Works well for me

I've developed a .223 load for my Savage 110 Varmint bolt rifle, which I bench rest shoot, around CFE 223. With 26.2gr and a 52 gr Berger FB Match bullet I've gotten 1/4" MOA results. This load also shoots well in my Tikka T3x .223. Needless to say I'm a fan of CFE 223.

Originally I started using CFE223 for reloading 5.56mm NATO spec ammo for 3gun matches & got pretty decent accuracy. Now I'm gonna try it with 6.5 Grendel with 120gr bullets hoping I get the same good accuracy. I like that it reduces copper fouling in my rifle barrels.
