Protrusion Gauge
I had been meaning to buy this gauge for a while, and when I saw it on sale I couldn't wait any longer. I didn't realize that the gauge can also be used to measure pin protrusion on rimfire rifles, so that's just another plus for buying this gauge.

Its a super tool
Took me a few try's till I got the hang of it and now NO problems. Only one ( 1) item to adjust and close to measure THE SCREW and then just measure the distance / gap . If I can do it , you can do it- just take the first step.

Simply a must have to fit firing pins
Well made, easy to use and accurate. I would hate to be with out it. A must for fitting firing pins. I've had mine for years. I doubt it will ever wear out, but if I lose it, I'll buy another one ASAP

Not so good for smaller calibers
Bought this to to test a Ruger American Ranch Gen II in 5.56 that was having misfires with Hornady match ammo. Gauge is easy to use, but the Ruger's bolt face is so tight that the extractor has to be forced out to get the gauge inserted flush. Took multiple attempts to get an accurate reading. Larger calibers shouldn't be a problem.

Roughly machined
Someone didn't finish machining my tool - Even with the thumbscrew removed, the pin wouldn't budge without significant force. After I removed the pin I determined that after threading the hole for the thumbscrew someone didn't remove the waste from inside the hole. After I cleaned it out, and trimmed about 1/4" off the incredibly long thumbscrew, it now works great. It didn't take a lot of work to make it perfect though you expect perfect at this price.
