Provides plenty of clearance for forward assist and easy access for clearing jams. Replaces factory receiver plate without gunsmithing.

Works well.
Not the most attractive piece, but works well. Holds tight in gun, and works great with Blackhawk Storm Sling. Nice if multiple users using one weapon so as to switch sling to either side of choice on the gun.

I will buy this product again and again
Simple to install, took about 10 minutes. Remember to watch the springs and plungers!

Nice, but has a hitch...
It was easy to install, and works with most of my slings (Specter MOUT, Magpul MS2, Spec-Ops Sling 101, etc.), but it interferes with my right thumb's operation of the selector switch. I'll be getting another mount soon

not my favorite
This plate is not sturdy enough to stand up to hard use. A single point sling hooked into the hole will put enough torque on the webbing slot to bend it out of shape. Once bent, a sling hook can ride up in the slot and stick, which is not what you want a single point sling to do. The plate also projects out from the receiver such that I always seem to bang into it and scrape my hand.

easy to install but damaged easily
Easy to install but after just a few hours of work with a single point sling it was bent where the sling attached and the sling began to catch. For me to make it work correctly would have to use some sort of adapter.
