MTM ammo cans are a great way to store bulk or boxed ammo. The all plastic design is lighter in weight than the heavy sharp edged US Military Surplus Ammo Can. Transferring ammo to and from the range, just became a little easier! Ideal for ammo storage. Molded out of rugged polypropylene plastic, these comfortably handled ammo cans will hold up to some pretty harsh treatment. Utilizing MTM's tongue and groove O-Ring seal system for a water-resistant seal. A heavy-duty dual latching system makes for a better seal and less likely to open accidentally. Padlock tabs along with molded-in stacking ridges, make these solid containers the perfect solution to so many storage needs. Made in the USA.

Great value and quality

These ammo boxes are very affordable and are built to great made in USA quality. Snug fit 500 rounds of 5.56 ammo in 20rd boxes. Could fit more if removed from each box. Will buy more.

45 Caliber Ammo Can by MTM

These cans are smaller than 50 cal cans in length and height. The width is the same. I knew this when I purchased them as I wanted a few cans that were smaller in size and these are just what I wanted. I can think of multiple uses for these such as camping, ammo storage, radios, batteries, emergency supplies/medical. I bought four. They were shipped within a few days of order and packed with bubble wrap to help protect them in transit. They arrived in perfect shape. I would buy these again at this price ($4.99 each) as of March, 2022.

Perfect for .45 ACP Ammo

Although others may have other preferences, this was the best product that I could locate that is just for .45 ACP caliber ammunition. It is well constructed and will be utilized for ammunition storage (not for the range or out in the field). The design and functionality are excellent.

Handy, cost-effective, good gasket seal

These are my favorite ammo storage containers, from .22 Short to .45-120 Sharps. The double latches are easy to manipulate and help provide a good seal. The cans stack well and are stable when stacked up to seven high. While new steel milspec ammo cans are superior the MTM cans and I do use them for certain applications, the MTM cans are less expensive and more readily available. Finally, this MTM can is handy for storing magazines and other gear. Think of them as Tupperware for men.

Unexpected

Cans were smaller than I expected, but the same good quality from MTM as always. The only brand of ammo cans I buy.
